Ballet training at Ardance is based on the Vaganova Method, acknowledged all over the world as the premier training syllabus of Classical Ballet. It is an extraordinary system that allows to develop the knowledge of how the body should be used in order to dance without injuries. Developed in Russia by Agrippina Vaganova, this teaching method is praised to be the best by many, such as Mikhael Baryshnikov, Rudolph Nureyev, Natalia Makarova, Galina Ulanova, Maya Plisetskaya, George Balanchine, just to name a few. Mr. Balanchine based his own method upon his training in Vaganova. The quality of Dancers trained in Vaganova is simply exquisite and incomparable to any other. Our instructors have all been taught and trained under this Method, as well as pursuing further education in Vaganova Pedagogy to gain full knowledge of how to teach Ballet properly.
